The Little Giant Mine is a historic lead zinc and copper producer. All commercial production dates prior to 1904, with specimen collecting continuing the decades after closure. Most specimens come from the #3 tunnel, formally known as the Upper Giant Prospect. Hosted in St. Regis quartzite, the mine is located approximately 1.6 miles southeast of Mullan.
This is a classic example of pale, green, elongated pyromorphite crystals on matrix. Crystallization is present on two naturally displaying faces of the specimen. A must have for the collector of Idaho, lead minerals, PNW locales, US Classics, or antique specimens!
